Development of Integrated Health Information Service System

Health information is one of the important building blocks in health system. Health information can be used for policy and strategy formulation, resource allocation, implementation of health intervention, social movement, and awareness building for people. Therefore, accessible, regular and timely health information with the appropriate format of presentat ion for each particular user would be very important and essential. This system should be integrated both in terms of topic and area in order to serve all health information demands from various types of user. Quality of health information provided is also concerned to closely reflect the real health situation including health status, health determinants and health service system. Information on health care facilities and resources is also included and needs development to achieve better coverage and timeliness.

1. To develop the integrated health statistics presentation and service system on the internet
2. To develop the geographical health resources information system for all levels of health facility
