The Institute of Health Promotion for Persons with Disability (IHPPD)

The institute aims to promote disability-related health promotion networking as well as social communication. Four strategies are to support and facilitate 1) networking for disability-related health promotion and rehabilitation initiatives or model development, 2) knowledge production, 3) reducing physical and social-cultural barriers for enhancing social participation of persons with disability, and 4) policy formulation and advocacy. The goal is making positively changes on the quality of life of persons with disability in both individual and structural levels.
