Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) was
established in 1992 by the Health Systems Research
Institute Act, 1992.

    It is an autonomous state agency. In accordance
with the national social and economic contexts, its
objectives are to create and stimulate the eneration
and synthesis of policy relevant health systems
knowledge, encompassing evidence, tools, methods
and interventions.

    Health Systems Research Institute is a
key organization in knowledge management
of which the process and output lead to a
sustainable health system reform.

    The mission of HSRI is to manage knowledge to strategically support health system
development by working corporately with research alliances and engagement of stakeholders including policy-decision makers, potential research users, the media
and the general public
